Training To ensure our employees produce quality products they receive continuing education, on the job training and are held to high performance standards.  Continued employee training in our quality management system, regulatory, process and product requirements ensures the customer needs and expectations are met.  Altron's certified instructors train and certify employees to IPC-A-610 and IPC/J-STD-001 workmanship standards class 2 and 3.

Process Control

As part of Altron's planning process, product teams are assembled to identify process development initiatives, prioritize, and implement them to ensure product quality.  Employees are focused on defect prevention by identifying problems and resolving them.   This results in greater efficiency and excellent quality.  Statistical process techniques, first article inspection, in-process inspection, including our in-line automated optical inspection systems (AOI  Agilent sj5000), corrective/preventative action and product audits are used to ensure proficient processes.  As a result of our process controls, Altron achieves first pass yields in manufacturing that consistently meets our performance goals.  Our Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability services provide active participation and true partnership with our customers, focusing on common goals, quality products and satisfied customers.
